about MEEEE! and my car/s

hiya all
right only signed up last night so thought id have a good look around and saw this
heres my story (not that interesting)
name: Dan aka Birdy
age: 22
living: towcester

for over 2 years i wanted a beetle baaadly and i mean bad i don't know what it is I'm just drawn towards them.

so just last summer after my last car decided to die on me fiat punto (fan broke and overheated would you believe)
i decided to take out a little loan for a project

enter Ringo

my 1st bug sunflower yellow sunroof 1400 73 nice tidy car needed welding tis all i had him for a week and then up came an offer i couldn't refuse

Delilah my 69 1300 bug

i drove Ringo around up until DEC last year and sadly had to part with him to fund Delilah as you could imagine i was very upset to see him go

but now i have this beautiful car that just needs some TLC and somewhat of a tidy up

so I've got some parts and as soon as we have a bit warmer weather ill be on her like a fly on a windscreen (not so messy though)

ooh and also if anyone wants to have some input into the design of Delilah ideas are welcomed and any knowledge as I'm not exactly mechanically minded lol

ill be sure to sort out some pix as soon as i know how thanks for reading and will talk soon ;D

Cool, I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. Let me know if you need a hand, I'm just up the road from T but we do all our shopping and the kids gym/swimming/scouts etc so I pass through every day (I'm usually in a Mini though!)

well atm you sadly wnt see the car out and about as she needs some work before mot mainly electrical / the timing/ and pos some body work
yet to be fully looked at so 1st things 1st im taking out the engine to give it a clean and while will be doing that may get the body done 2 birds and all that but i thankyou for the offer and may well need it very soon so free up the calender lol
