Most of you have probably already seen this in the other section, but i thought id start this one up to show the work thats being done. Had a good poke round underneath and so far have not found anything that needs welding, so i have started to paint the underside with good old por15. Couple of pics the day i got it. Couple of bits ive bought New 4" narrowed beam And the wheels........ Inner arch before and after... Floor pans inside and new gene berg shifter fitted. Other plans are to fit dropped spindles and a 2 spline drop at the rear to get it in the weeds, a few accessories and a bigger maybe turbo motor, but for now im just concentrating on getting it on the road and on its arse!!! Mechanically it has a 1200 engine from a 62 bus that wouldn't idle or rev without misfiring, so i got rid of the 009 dizzy (thanks to advise over the phone from judgie ) and replaced for a vacuum advance one, set the timing with my new strobe from wishart, and had a play with the carb and got it running sweet. The brakes have new shoes all round and cylinders and new front drums, so all they needed was bleeding. Also got the full chrome trim to go down the sides and fitted the original mirror and nose badge. Its gonna be a rolling work in progress, as i really dont want it off the road, id rather use it and enjoy, but it will eventually be going back to its original colour of trout blue. Hope ya'll like!!

Right, took the car up to my mates body shop, unique paint and body, to start on the dash. Before Notice all the holes on the top and the ones that shouldnt be there on the face, and also the big dent on the top. These will all be welded up and the dent straightened out then put into primer and guide coat. Stripped Dash straightened, and dodgy holes removed...... Some more pics to come once the beam is on and the back is dropped. Also just won some bargain parts on ebay, new original filler cap as mine had been replaced with a dodgy plastic one, got it for £12 Steering wheel, not a lowlight one, as they are rare as fook, but an early oval semi batwing one for £30 An AB code 1300 gearbox, to replace the splitcase non syncro original, anyone who has used one will know why ;D Got that for a tenner

Cheers guys ;D ;D
Rubyfoo, i only found out how to do it yesterday, basically, when you are on bug selecta with your finished car, hold ALT and PRINT SCREEN-SYSRQ (top right of the keyboard) and it will automatically save to your clip board, then go into paint and paste and the pic will appear, then you can save it there. ;D
