Hey Guys
Just posted a picture of my Golf in the pictures section but thought i would add a lil profile in here as well.
Im Matt from Northampton
I work for a software development company and have been into the dB Drag/ Sound off scene since 2004. Competing in competitions at car shows across the country in my mk1 focus (and even attended the world finals in Lyon last year where I came 2nd in Europe)
but as a 30th Birthday and Christmas my wife got me a Mk3 Golf with lots of loud car audio equipment.
The golf was going to stay standard ( apart from the massive speaker enclosure!!) but I had seen a few Rat/Stealth paint jobs and decided to respray the car matt black and for a rattle can job im pretty pleased with it!
The car is being used for this years competition season and my aim for the year was to make it do 150dB which it did for the first time at the CAR Expo trade show in Coventry last week so im now aiming for 155db which is silly loud!
I know you guys are mainly interested in the old skool dubs but my brother used to own a sweet little Baja Buggy and I did bug jam and RTTS a few times with him and I loved the atmosphere and the 'familyness' of the whole dub scene so thought I might pop in and say hello,
