claim to fame:
my great grandfather was a pirate, he tooled around between Mauritius and Australia, and stole things, his last caper was 1964.

i have a 67split screen panel van called Moog ( wtw.tarka.org/moog.html ) same color, i going to air ride him and give him a tiki theme.
a 65 chassis beach buggy called Fe long (means little windy dragon), just waiting to Finnish with paint and bling.
a 1967 beetle stripped down to the chassis, waiting for a unit so i can crack on, and turn it into a hood ride.
a 73 beetle that i was given to me to rewire then the bastard went and died and left it to me in his will, he also left me with a ford popular, which his daughter does not have room for, so its sat in another garage.
a 56 series 1 land-rover called sarge, which used to be my daily driver.
a 73 range-rover only because i wanted the engine and running gear for a project which i never built.
oh yeah and a fiat ducatto kontki motor-home which was my mobile office
i have built and got rid of
a range-rover baby stormer Jaguar 4,2 liter V8 twin turbo fiberglassed bodied 4 wheel drive hellcat, was dynoed at 370 bhp
was let down on a Aston 6 liters V12 at the last moment
that was for a poster that land-rover friend wanted.
a v8 ford pop, fun but dangerous
a land-rover with a Detroit v12 diesel motor in again scary
what i used to do: i used to run live action events until last year, where peopled paid to run around and shoot each other with bits of light, and pretend to be heroic.

my personal book list
The Bridge, Iain Banks
Yum.
The Burgess Book of Lies, Burgess and Burgess
Climbing bad-boys make good! Fantastic read.
Breakheart Pass, Alistair McLean
Out of print.
American Gods
Finish this one dammit. Don't you want to find out if Czernog (or whatever) bashes Shadow's head in?
Good Omens, Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett
Read this as soon as possible
Holy War, Karen Armstrong
A great book about the crusades & their impact on today's middle east
Hitler's Pope, john Cornwall
I'm not sure if you'd like this one, but it's pretty good. A biography of Pope Pius 12th by a (now, but not at the time) ex-Catholic.
Coraline, Neil Gaiman
Look for it in young adult.
Loot, Aaron J. Elkins
Novel about a guy looking for art stolen by the Nazis.
The Salmon of Doubt, Douglas Adams
Collection of stuff that was left behind on his computer after he died (including a little bit of the Dirk Gently novel he was working on). It's kinda sad to read.
The General's Daughter, Nelson Demille
Much better than the movie and a really good read.
The Spanish Inquisition, Henry Kamen
Great book about the Spanish inquisition by a guy that did a LOT of research on it.
It set me straight and is totally impartial.
Smoke and Mirrors, Neil Gaiman
If anything, you have to at least read the story about the cat. It could almost be true ;D
Music: everything at the moment i am into Santana, aqua lads and Gretchen Librium.
top film:
no i am going to be a bit weird but i really like nightwatch
top TV show: don't really watch TV so top gear cause they get some really cool shots, if i could, i would bring Niki Larson (aka super-cop, aka city-hunter) to the UK, something about girls with guns and fast cars is kind of cool.
color of the moment: is green
dislikes: anyone who is not genuine
well i could keep waffling forever but if i tell all you won't want to talk to me so
