Day job – Full time student nurse

I have dreamt of owning a VDub Camper for many a year and have just made that dream come true. Still in a bit of shock to be honest!

When looking for my camper I knew it would be love at first sight and it sure was, Verity is a beautiful 68 Bay, green and cream.

Nige (Dodgy) is my partner, he tends to be a little on the shy side...cough, splutter.... OK, he's not shy at all, he is loud and hyper but those of you that have met him will know that already. I am the quiet one…… honest.

We have 5 kids between us:
Amie 20
Jade 14 and a half
Tommee 12 (this month)
Amber 10
Seth 6

Last Albums – Joni Mitchel, Take That, and loads of mixed stuff off of iTunes. Oh yeh, I do love a bit of 60’s and 70’s (usually when I have had a wine or two)

Hobbies – Boating, on the river and at sea. Had to sell the boat to finance my degree and then went and spent the money on a camper… oh well, you only live once.
My beloved Apple iBook (I seem to spend most of my life on it)
Camping with the kids, now in a fab VW camper….Cool.
Finally, keeping Dodgy under control (must confess I’m not too successful at this though)

Food - Anything, bit of a gannet really.

Drink – Wine, champagne and cassis and diet coke.

Fav books – Inca Cola (story about a trip around Puru)

Film – Chocolat and Cinema Paradiso

I am still getting used to driving Veritie as my everyday drive, very different from a conventional vehicle, far more fun and funky though.

Have to get used to all her little idiosyncrasies, I filled her cupboards today with all my essential stuff only to have it spill out all over the van floor when I went round a corner.... had a bit of a re-shuffle so its all fine now.

Can’t wait to meet everyone at the next meet.

welcome ;D i have a door where the locks buggered so everytime i go round a corner it flies open aswell if the bloody rain stops ill get it sorted.

I repacked the cupboards, which helped but also got out my girly screwdriver.... ok it was a knife but it did the trick and I shifted the latch over a smidgen, it holds sweet now. I think!!!!

Yer, on to the bloody rain. I am discovering all sorts of little jobs for Dodgy to do thanks to the Bloody rain. Oh well aint that all just part of havin a camper.... besides it keeps him busy, just how he likes it.

Sure was me and my Veritie. We live near the Racecourse and I had a birthday lunch at the Toby last Sunday.

Oh its alright if he hears, I think he likes being a nutter to be honest !*?! Makes him feel special.

I can't moan, I benefit greatly from his mad moments. Surprise trips to Sweden, Sardinia and all sorts of wonderful things.
