Hey buddy,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I am no mechanic but can tell you that to get it running you need 2 things. 1: Fuel & 2: A spark, so those are the things to check.
What is happening when you try and start it? Is it turning over and not firing up, just making a 'click' noise or nothing at all?

If it is just clicking without the engine turning at all it could either be that the battery doesn't have enough power to turn the engine or the starter motor is stuck.
Try sticking the car in 3rd gear, taking the handbrake off and shoving the car from behind so it rocks back and forth a few times to free the starter, then try and start it.
If that doesn't work get some jump leads and ask someone to jump start it.
Let us know how you get on.

i agree with furry. clik clik in my opinion means low battery not enough power to spin the fly wheel or as tom says starter maybe jammed.

if no joy with the above,
check fuels getting to the carb - take off the hose from the pump to the carb, get someone to turn it over a see if any fuel comes out ( put the end of the pipe in a bottle or somthing)
Sparks easy, take a plug out, and rest it on the car to earth it, get someone to crank it over a couple of time watch for a spark
