i think my front suspension is in need of a professinoal opinion.... driving along any road no matter how rough, i get a very sharp tapping sound of metal to metal. It only appears to be drivers side....it may be some other suspension issue but a few people have said it could be the dropped spindles? I aint tooled up enough in my head or in my tool box to tackle this if its the spindles Just doesnt sound too safe Also The steering freeplay has a knock when you move it side to side... and going over bumps when driving sometimes causes a drastic swerve lol. Its been worse the last few weeks. Is that a steering box problem? Ive been advised that it would need looking at shortly Im guessing neither of these will be a low-cost fix.

I've postponed my Northampton jobs for today but I will be back in town on Wednesday afternoon. Considering you've still got my jack I think it would be an ideal opportunity for us to have a butchers. There are so many different things it could be. Hopefully it wont cost more than a 4 pack of stella to fix.

Not that familiar with bus steering set up, but its not a trackrod hitting the chassis leg is it?

Considering I could barely get my fingers underneath this bus on thursday night, let alone a jack, the old track rod was going to be my first check. I'm hoping its something simple like that.
