oi oi all right it will soon be the time to spray up my bug once the welding has been done...YAY!!! ;D
BUT how many litres will i need ? primer base of silver and green
im gonna be doin all bare metal of the interior too

probably about 1 litre of primer minimum and 0.3 of a litre per panell should get you 3 coats obviously bootlid and rear valance class as one!!!! have fun dude!

Depends on the paint you're going to use, 2k high build primer will use less than a normal primer, bare metal will need an etch primer or an Epoxy primer. The top coat will also depend on the type of paint and are you doing metalic or a solid colour, if you're doing it in a special colour you might also need a ground coat. I would also buy more paint than you need so you have an exact match for any repairs needed later, if you're keeping it.

I'd estimate 1 wash etch 2 - 4 high build primer 1 - 2 silver 2 green 3 clear 3+ hardner 5 thinners but it greatly depends on the prep and how you spray it on, the gun type, etc, you could use less or considerably more.

yeah if your in a pro sprayshop!!!!! if in your shed at home just dont get to exited cos going well over the top is a waist of time as just cant keep it properly clean and dust fee so results wont be spot on anyway!!!!
