As the camping season approaches Im looking ahead to when the Bus is complete and getting it kitted out. Power inverters - what kind of size should I be looking for to handle basic appliances (phone charger, games charger, hair straighteners ;D etc....) Ive seen some that are a 12v cigarette lighter connection and some that are connected direct to the battery - pros and cons? Cheers

Im thinking of getting one this year, so my advice is.
Get the biggest and one that will wire into the battery, those 12v plug sockets are a bit of a weak point.
The hair straighteners will draw the most power. I think they are around 200W (dont worry about about the chargers..milli amps if an amp)
Allow for other things, id say a 500W minimum inverter.
Didnt know you had curly hair? ;D

i dont - i have very VERY STRAIGHT HAIR ;D
I know quite a few guys in the club have inverters, just never asked about them. Ive seen a few 500W ones at around £50 which im not sure is reasonable or not lol. Seems ok?
