ahh man you folks really have got it going on over there dude. yep that guy in the 1970 yellow cab, sure is from over here in uk. he is the infamous richie webb of the outlaw flat fours. i was at shakespaer county raceway over here in england and see his last run before he packed the car away for the states. ill be honest i had a small tear in my eye bkus i love that car, but im well stocked to see that you guys have had the chance to see it in action too. richie has been all over europe with that car from the uk to france to belgium to sweden to germany but now hes giving you guys a turn in the usa. the car has run back to back 9sec 1/4mile passes and is street legal. i notice he has fitted early blade bumpers just for you guys too. he used to have t bars when it was over here. it may be a 1970 thats made to look older but it sure is one of my favorite vw's of all time. a true piece of artwork.  |
