as I said, i've been pretty slack on the work lately so i hit it again today! Hit it with some primer in the morning and quickly put it together for a picture before getting it ready for the first coat of Satin Pink - Im lovin this colour!!! Added a little detailing to the prop stand too ;D Hoping that a few bits will arrive in the post this week so I can begin to put it back together.

We have a twist in the tale now.... Having considered that Ella will probably out-grow a Mini Burner by the end of the next year - if she isnt already too big for it - a bigger bike was needed. We couldnt find any regular Burners for a decent price so the Tesco offer came in at the perfect time! We purchased this for the total sum of £33 ;D Brand new. Got rid of the horrid stickers and the plan is to change the Silver to Satin Pink, add some of our own stickers and that will be that! Im very impressed with it (and i dont tend to like new BMXs)

The girls love them ;D We hid them up in the trees at the bottom of the garden and gave them clues all round the house to find them ;D I need to take a link out of the chain on the burner as is just a little too long and the tensioners are at their max. Also the cones need tightening up a bit Otherwise, spot on.

I missed the end of this thread some how and first I saw of the finnished article was on Burnerworls bike of the month just now i'd of voted if I had of known. Looks well cool especially seeing as it used to be yours as well makes it that little bit more special. Dont show Tegan I said you cant do pink. Where did you get your custom pads from?

Ah cheers mate ;D Its not as perfect a resto as some, and im sure yours will blow this one away!
I made the pads at work. Dye-subbed the fabric and had the seamstresses stitch them using the old ones as templates. Used the original foam although it is blue!
